AI meets Biosecurity.
The Paired Ends Lab at the UVA School of Data Science is led by Dr. Stephen D. Turner. We build and evaluate computational methods for biology, with current work on AI and biosecurity, computational biology, and genetic epidemiology.
We write open-source software, publish our code and data where we can, and collaborate with biologists, clinicians, and public health researchers.
